This year, the extended Mere Literary Festival is putting on an extra event devoted to our brilliant Authors and Writers living in the three counties area. On Saturday 4th October, a full 9 days before Festival Week, the Local Authors And Writers Fair will be held in the town and if you have written a book, fiction or non-fiction, published or self-published, adult or children’s, we would love you to take part!

This will be a free event for visitors to come and meet you and will be a chance for less well-known Authors to show off what they have written. Each Author will be invited to join the ‘elevator pitches’ starting event to be introduced by the Festival Director, Wayne Stevens, and will have a strict two minutes to present and promote their work. Wayne will be ruthless with his timekeeping and will sound the horn if any overrun!

Each Author and Writer will be able to sell their books directly to the visitors who will come and go throughout the day and event will run from 10am to 4pm. Tables are available at only £10 each and includes space for a single pull-up marketing sign if required.
