Julie Beckett has listened to The Archers since birth. She has been working in Ambridge since 1998, and has produced, devised, written, edited and directed countless stories for the show in that time.

She previously worked for BBC Schools Radio, and has a voluntary role as the director of a young theatre group who bring theatre to Pembrokeshire every year. 

About The Archers Unseen

This knowing exploration of Ambridge delights in the follies and everyday mischief of the inhabitants of England’s most famous village. Location by location, via The Bull and the occasional barn, the narrator takes the reader behind closed doors and picks up on whispers around money, births, deaths, romance and sex (often in inappropriate places …).

In this canny exploration of Britain’s best-loved soap, we see how every relationship, each personal triumph and disaster, and all the hopes and dreams of a community over the years are folded into the personal stories of the characters we know so well today.

About Marina Sossi

Marina Sossi is an expert in creativity and improvised performance and a multi media artist, director and performer based in London. She has toured internationally, facilitated masterclasses and directed performances in theatre, opera and music. Marina is a performance mentor, mind and body coach and socially engaged artist with experience working with senior/exec professionals, athletes and creatives. Background of 20 years working with diverse people with anxiety and performance challenges, mental illness, addictions and imprisonment. Sectors based experience has included; commercial, not-for profit, charities, start-ups, public sector, arts council.
