A Walk with Paul Harris

Paul Harris is no ordinary Festival author.

Known as The Warrior Walker and celebrated as the first person to walk around the entire UK—twice. Paul’s journey began with a single life changing decision in 2020. Three weeks after receiving a message from a friend, he quit his job, stepped out of his front door, and kept walking… and walking… and walking. His story has since inspired thousands, earning him features on Sky News, BBC interviews, and appearances on major podcasts around the world.

This year, Mere Literary Festival offers a rare chance to join Paul for a guided morning walk starting right here in Mere. As you walk alongside him, you’ll hear first hand reflections on resilience, adventure, the people he’s met, and the moments that shaped his extraordinary journey around the UK coastline. It’s an intimate, uplifting experience – part storytelling, part shared adventure.
